This is a group for Persian moms of little ones. If you're like us, you often hear people speaking Farsi in places like downtown Walnut Creek or Danville and wonder, 'Where do these families gather?' Perhaps you are Iranian but your partner is not, and it is increasingly important to you that your child(ren) is exposed to Iranian language, culture, and people. Rotary Club of Marin Sunrise is organizing its social event to benefit Meals On Wheels. The venue is Greek Persian festival with food, dancing and music from both cultures. Father Luke of Greek Orthodox Church in Ignacio is helping with Dr Preovolos and Gus Catechi as the Greek organizers. Farhad Taleghani is leading the Persian contingencies.
